Dee Sternhagen, FNP
Dee Sternhagen is a family nurse practitioner (FNP) and certified Geronotolocial Specialist who specializes in pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation.
She received her Bachelors' of Nursing from the University of Iowa. She received her Masters of Science in 2003 from the University of Illinois specializing in Occupational Health Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She is board certified through ANCC as an FNP. She is a nurse practitioner with several years of diverse clinic and post-acute care experience focusing on client-centered, holistic, and educational care.
Dee is a member of the Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nurses and Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association. She is affiliated with the Swedish American, Mercyhealth, and Van Matre Hospitals.
She provides direct medical care to rehabilitation patients and nursing home residents. She sees patients in our Rockford outpatient office, local area hospitals, and rehabilitation facilities, where she is responsible for patient evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans with a special focus on rehabilitation needs, pain management, and musculoskeletal problems.
