Duties and Responsibilities
The primary duties of our physician Practice Manager are to plan, coordinate, direct, and supervise various elements of our medical practice:
The Practice Manager will be responsible for hiring and training Practice staff. They will also address staff issues and conducts regular performance reviews.
Oversee billing and collections, implement work policies for employees, maintain daily supervision, and interact with employees and patients.
The Physician Practice Manager will oversee the financial aspects of the business, such as billing, banking, and accounting. They will also ensure that the staff uses the correct coding when designating the diagnosis or results of procedures used.
Our Physician Practice Manager will work closely with our nurses and physicians. We are a small practice, the manager(s} will handle scheduling, technical issues, and daily patient flow.
The Practice Manager will ensure that the day-to-day business is handled according to office/facility and medical guidelines.
Strong written and verbal communication is essential.
High Emotional IQ and the ability to work and lead in a diverse work environment.
Experience in health information technology, HCPC, ICD-10 coding, clinical practice improvement, medical sciences, and/or medical ethics a PLUS.
At least 2 years of experience managing a Practice of 10+ staff.
High School Diploma a must, Bachelor preferred.

We are a RAPIDLY growing PM&R practice in the Chicago land and Rockford, IL, and Madison, WI areas.
Medlux Rehabilitation & Wellness is a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation group that has been providing care to thousands of patients at multiple locations in the Chicago land area since 2007.
We are a medical group owned and operated by a Physiatrist.
Our model is to partner our Physiatrist(s) and Mid-level Practitioners with rehab centers, skilled nursing facilities, chiropractors,
and other rehabilitation therapists (aka Multi-Specialty Treatment Teams) to provide our patients with excellent physician-directed rehabilitation care.
We are looking for APNs who are passionate about their work, who puts the patient first, and who thinks they would make a great asset to our team of leading specialists.
Our Mid-level providers play an essential role in assessing and managing pts acute & chronic health care needs. With Medlux, you will:
Work with clients and families in both out-patient and in-patient environments to create a personally tailored recovery plan.
Educate clients & families on pain management, on how to promote safety and wellness in the home environment to improve functional abilities and maximize their quality of living.

Full Benefits
Licensure: Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Professional Nurse; DEA registration
Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing; Board Certification perferred; BLS
Competence:
Determine the origin and type of care needed (orthopedic, neurological, surgical, musculoskeletal) Uses evidenced-based guidelines and standards for pain management in rehabilitation patient populations
Salary Range: $98,327 to $115,163
