Jennifer Walsh, ANP

Jennifer Walsh graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2004 with her bachelor of science in nursing. She then earned a master of science in nursing, becoming an adult nurse practitioner (ANP) with distinction in 2011 from North Park University in Chicago, where she received the Xavier P. Smith Graduate Student Achievement Award.

After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, Jennifer began her nursing career at Alexian Brothers Medical Center as a registered pediatric nurse. She then moved to Springfield, Illinois where she worked at St. John’s Hospital as a surgical nurse specializing in pediatrics and urological surgery.

Jennifer returned to Alexian Brothers Medical Center from 2006-2010 as a clinician IV/assistant manager of a pediatric/adult medical-surgical unit. From there, Jennifer worked at Manor Care Rehabilitation Center as a wound care nurse.

After receiving her adult nurse practitioner certification in 2011, Jennifer began practicing at an integrative wellness clinic, where she assessed and treated patients with musculoskeletal and neurological diseases.

Jennifer has been a valued team member of Medlux Rehabilitation & Wellness since 2013. She provides direct medical care to nursing home residents and rehabilitation patients. She sees patients at two subacute rehabilitation facilities, where she is responsible for patient evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans with a special focus on rehabilitation needs, pain management, and musculoskeletal problems.
